1. Who we are
RemoteShe is a remote job discovery platform operated by Luana Systems, based in Dublin, Ireland. We are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Questions? Email contact@remoteshe.co.
2. Data we collect
- Email address: when you subscribe to job alerts or contact us.
- Alert preferences: frequency and care-perk filters you select.
- Usage data: aggregate event counts and coarse page categories. Search queries, benefit-filter combinations and form contents are excluded from generic analytics. Newsletter signup may retain an allowlisted campaign source with your separate editorial consent record; it is used for aggregate reporting. Optional Amplitude measurement may use device identifiers; it does not autocapture forms or clicks.
- Employer claim data: contact name, work email, company, and role submitted via the employer claim form.
- Employee experience responses: structured workplace ratings, employment status, optional role family, country, and private moderation context. We do not ask for your name or email.
- Abuse prevention data: a one-way hash derived from your IP address and the company identifier, retained for 24 hours. We do not store the raw IP address with your response.
3. How we use your data
- Send matching job alerts only after email confirmation, no more frequently than your chosen daily, weekly or monthly limit. Every alert includes preferences and unsubscribe links.
- Process employer claims and tier subscriptions.
- Improve the platform through anonymised analytics.
- Moderate workplace experience responses and publish only grouped results from at least five approved responses.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Consent: for email alerts (you can withdraw any time).
- Contract: for processing employer subscription and claim data.
- Legitimate interests: for anonymised analytics to improve the service.
- Legitimate interests: to moderate participant-submitted workplace experience and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions.
5. Data retention
Subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Employer claim data is retained for 3 years for legal and audit purposes. Employee experience responses are retained for up to 2 years, then expire automatically. Abuse prevention hashes expire after 24 hours. Anonymised analytics data has no set expiry.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email contact@remoteshe.co. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
7. Cookies & tracking
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We may use a privacy-first analytics tool (no personal data). No tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
8. Data processors
We use Cloudflare (data storage and edge compute, EU/US) and Stripe (payment processing). Both are GDPR-compliant processors under our DPA.
9. Changes
We'll post material changes here with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
